SMOKINCHOICES (and other musings)

Not so well-known info on STEVIA

The low-down on STEVIA

Would like to share a fabulous resource I’ve tied into recently;  Dr Josh Axe.  He is a really young, intelligent ‘alternative’ natural healing doctor.  As you know,  that’s my kind of doc.  He seems hell-bent to re-educate all of us on the easiest and best way to handle many things.  Seems to be a really smart cookie. . . got my attention!  Sure he does  the big issues of heavy (disease) problems,  but that isn’t to say that he doesn’t also understand the stuff we deal with on a day to day basis of living.  .  .  like how to sweeten my tea?  (I generally use honey)  Been using Stevia of late, but reading  the label the other day — took my breath away and got depressed.  See, I love my body and wish to do it NO HARM!  I take care of my body. . . and it takes care of me.  How could this happen?  Thought Stevia was safe!

Well,  it is — to be sure!  But we must stay alert.  The best stuff doesn’t even have FDA approval, while these refined, altered (and some carcinogenic/toxic stuff) DOES have the OK.  What is our world coming to?  At least, now, I am able to make a sensible choice in keeping with my values.  To each his own,  they say.     Jan

  1. May I just say what a relief to uncover someone that actually knows what they
are talking about on the internet. You definitely realize how to bring a problem to
light and make it important. A lot more people should check this out
and understand this side of the story. It’s surprising you aren’t
more popular because you surely have the gift.

    • Didn’t leave a name, so can’t address you personally. . . but thank you nevertheless. Kind of you to stop in. As to my readership levels, it’s appropriate as I no longer create enough volume to maintain the interest of many who wish to be fed daily. Have always done “smokinchoices” because I enjoy doing it, but am no longer able to keep my former pace as I once eagerly did with multiple posts daily. (going on nine years with over 2300 posts). So all is good!. . . . so the kindness of your words are warmly received. Jan
