    • Makenzie. . .seems I may have knocked your comment off (accidentally), but wanted to acknowledge that you were kind enough to make a comment. This post goes back a few years, yet little has changed. I keep learning of the (often) futility of surgeries for the pain people experience. But then I also hear of these injuries from my son whose business entails working with sports; the athletes, teams and especially kids — because if the youngsters can be trained in correct movement techniques, the injuries dramatically diminish. My son’s site is and there is always something interesting there to mull over and even incorporate into one’s life.

      Since I am deeply opposed to pain, I have found a myriad of ways to live without it. . .all done without OTC stuff or anything at all pharmaceutical. We can all learn something about body movement and posture – simple stuff (especially sitting wrong or too long with out breaks). One might be surprised to learn that bad habits can start in the crib with the way we bind babies up to protect them. Did a post called “BABY-SLEEP, CONTROVERSY Feb 16, 2016. . .ya might check it out. Wanted to mention the author I was referencing in that post was Kathleen Porter and her excellent book is NATURAL POSTURE for Pin-Free Living. This is a book which is in a great many sports-medicine doctor’s as her book and its contents are so forward thinking and scientifically based.
