JOY (Almost) E V E R Y W H E R E
Wanted to record on my blog some of the pix I found which reflect some of the joy felt by so many (including me) on this spectacular day. If I forget the feelings, I can come back and look-see again. Obama’s first was spectacular, but this one is truly the ‘cat’s pajamas’ – - such enormous satisfaction! For Barack ; he knows the people are with him – behind him – chose him because of who he is and what he has done. It isn’t just fabulous, charismatic speeches! He has righted our sinking ship. We are healthier now and “stuff” is getting better. Our next four years have a much better shot to not only become strong again, but will be able to “FIX” many things which have been languishing on the back burner for rather a long time. So yeah, this was a good day, one to remember. .
. but we also had one fantastic vice President in Joe Biden. Many say and I agree, he is the best, most productive, likable guy ever to man this position. He was one of our president’s wisest choices, for sure. He gets it done, and was perhaps, Obama’s secret weapon.
The president didn’t do this alone, he assembled an efficient, creative and quite excellent cabinet and staff. It is our loss that so many are leaving, but they have served us well. I trust Obama to once again, acquire the staffing and cabinet which suits his current needs for all those goals the people clamor for.
This was, indeed, a very good day.
